Midwest Bicycleworks, Inc. is a small independent full service mobile bicycle repair shop. We are based in Fort Wayne and have customers in the tri-state area. Our goal is to not only be the best mobile bicycle repair shop in the area, but also the best repair shop in the area. We strive hard to provide the best service and best prices.

Peter received his training the old fashioned way with an apprenticeship at a Bicycle Shop in Bloomington. He worked there for a total of almost 8 years. He also wrenched for Sun Rims at the NORBA National Races for a season. The rest of the learning came from working on his own bicycle for the 25 years before that.

A short history of Peter and his love of bikes: Peter learned to ride a bike in Raleigh, NC. His first major accident occured when one winter day after some freezing rain he tried to turn avoid a parked car and instead crushed his front wheel and landed on the roof (no injuries). He then moved to Germany for 5 years where he learned to commute on a bike to school and still today close to 35 years later still commutes as often as he can. Peter still misses Germany every day he gets on a bicycle and rides. He would like to see more bike paths and more people on bikes as well.
